Toadee ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Rysoft. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Toadee mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using Toadee, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, display name, and password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing).

Profile Information

You may optionally provide a profile photo, bio, city, and state. You control your visibility settings — you can choose whether other users at a venue can see you.

Location Data

We request access to your device's location to show nearby venues and enable check-in features. Location access is optional and can be denied or revoked at any time through your device settings. We do not continuously track your location in the background.

Camera Access

We request camera access solely to scan QR codes at venues for check-in and ordering. Camera data is processed on-device and is not stored, recorded, or transmitted to our servers.

Microphone Access

We request microphone access for the optional voice ordering feature. Audio is processed on-device using speech recognition and is not recorded or stored on our servers.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data. We store only the last four digits of your card and expiration date for display purposes.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including venues visited, orders placed, and features used. This helps us improve the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• To process transactions and send related information (order confirmations, receipts)
• To enable social features (friend connections, drink offers, messaging, in-app games)
• To show you relevant venues and events near you
• To communicate with you about updates, promotions, and support

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• With venues: When you check in or place an order, the venue sees your display name, table number, and order details to fulfill your request.
• With other users: If you enable visibility, other checked-in users at the same venue can see your display name, profile photo, and table number. You can disable this at any time.
• With service providers: We share data with third-party providers who assist in operating the Service (e.g., Stripe for payments, cloud hosting).
• As required by law: We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure password hashing, and token-based authentication. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Order and transaction records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
