A small per-tab fee patrons see on Free-tier venues only — 2.0% of the subtotal plus a $0.30 fixed fee, dropping to 1.0% for your first 14 days on Toadee. It's shown as its own line item on the patron's bill (so it's transparent), and venues on Basic or Pro carry no platform fee at all. The charge never applies to tax or tip.
Toadee uses Stripe Connect — captured payments transfer directly from the patron's card to your bank account on Stripe's standard payout schedule (typically 2 business days). Toadee never holds your funds. You'll connect a bank account during onboarding via Stripe's hosted form.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from the Subscription page in your admin portal. Changes take effect immediately — paid features unlock on the next page load, and downgrades start at the end of your current billing period.
Stripe is built in on every tier (online card payments through the patron app and QR ordering). Pro tier adds Stripe Terminal for in-person card readers, plus optional Heartland and Adyen integrations if you already have a relationship with one of those processors.
